Medical Team:
The medical team at The Triangle Surgery is a multidisciplinary team providing patient-centred care to the Wandsworth community. The practice is led by Dr Dev Acharya and includes GPs with expertise in chronic disease management, women’s health, paediatrics, mental health, and elderly care.
The wider team consists of practice nurses, healthcare assistants, and clinical pharmacists who support preventative care, chronic disease management, vaccinations, health screening, and medication reviews. Through the Wandle Primary Care Network, patients also have access to physiotherapists, paramedics, and social prescribing services, ensuring a holistic and integrated approach to healthcare.

Dr Dev Acharya
Dr Dev Acharya
Dr Dev Acharya is the managing partner and lead G.P,and joined the practice in 2001. He qualified in 1997 with MBBS Bsc(hons) from St George’s Hospital Medical School,London.Prior to becoming a G.P ,he trained at University College Hospital,London, working in acute psychiatry and elderley care,and has worked in general medicine,surgery,orthopaedics, paediatrics/neonatology and obstetrics and gynaecology. He worked as a GP specialist in Urology for 15 years performing cytoscopies on suspected bladder cancer referrals,and became proficient at managing prostate and recurrent UTI problems. He is particularly interested in Chronic Disease Management (in particular Diabetes and Heart Disease),and elderley care.He is the practice child health lead.He also speaks Gujarati,Hindi,Urdu.In his spare time he is keen on fitness and sports.
Dr Prakash Shah
Dr Shah is a senior GP with over 40 years experience in general practice. He qualified in 1972 and worked at a large practice as a senior GP partner for 27 years . Dr Shah specialised in ENT and dermatology and has become an integral and most popular staff member at the practice with his wealth of experience and expertise and his calmness and enthusiasm makes him legendary!Dr Shah speaks Hindi,Urdu,Gujarati.
Dr Sara Musawi
Dr Sara Musawi qualified at Royal Free and University College Medical School 2002 MBBS with training at the Royal Free Hospital in general medicine/ hepatology; general surgery and breast surgery and psychiatry. She went on to complete her GP training at St Helier hospital in obstetrics/gynaecology; A&E; paediatrics and geriatrics/stroke medicine with MRCGP in 2006. She has worked with the diabetes medicine team at St George’s hospital as an honorary clinical assistant 2008-2012 and has an interest in teaching having been a tutor for year 3 and 4 undergraduate students with Kings College Undergraduate Medical Education Department. Sara’s analytical approach to her care makes her in high demand amongst patients. She speaks Urdu/Hindi fluently.In her spare time she enjoys baking and fitness/strength training
Dr Mike Robinson
Dr Mike Robinson is a senior GP and qualified in 1982,with MA MB BS MRCP MRCGP DCH DRCOG FFPH MD. He has worked as a Consultant in public health with special interests in health services research and end of life care.Mike has the impeccable etiquette and tireless approach which makes him a highly regarded team member.
Dr Maria Oringa
Dr Maria is a very experienced GP, who gained her MRCGP and who trained at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and Hospital Clínic i Provincial de Barcelona, where she completed specialist training in Family and Community Medicine in 2007. With extensive experience in elderly care and emergency medicine in Madrid and Barcelona. Maria is known for her patient and diligent approach to her patients and is always willing at hand for urgent requests from the team. Alongside her GP work she is currently finishing a BSc in Psychology at Valencia International University, with a focus on mental health. Languages: English and fluent Spanish
Dr Jean Boundy
Dr Jean Boundy has completed her .Bsc (Hons) MBBS DRCOG DFSRH MRCGP (2006) Dr Jean Boundy graduated from Royal Free and University College London Medical School in 2002. She worked in A&E in before moving to took her GP Vocational training in Epsom and St Helier completing a number of post graduate qualifications working in Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, General Medicine and Care of the Elderly. She completed MRCGP in 2006 and became a GP in the Sutton area where she has worked ever since across a number of practices in the local and surrounding area including Wandsworth and Merton as well as in the Extended access service. She recently completed the GP supervisor course. Jean has become an integral team member with her pragmatic and innovative approach to medicine.
Operational Manager
The Operational Manager oversees the day-to-day running of the practice, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and safely. Their role includes managing staff, coordinating practice operations, maintaining service quality, and supporting the delivery of effective patient care across the surgery.
Tara Reynolds
Tara has been working in general practice since 2007, developing extensive experience in the management and day-to-day running of primary care services. Tara has a strong interest in organisational leadership, team development, and improving practice efficiency to ensure high standards of service for both patients and staff.
Tara enjoys working within the NHS and remain committed to its values of accessible, high-quality healthcare. Tara joined the practice in 2023, where she has continued to build on her leadership and management skills, with a particular interest in service development, team support, and continuous improvement.
Healthcare Assistant
Clair Christian
Clair is a very experienced clinician with over 25 years experience in the NHS.Clair performs a variety of tasks such as NHS health checks,health screening,vaccinations,phlebotomy and helps with long term condition reviews. Clair often has good insight into conditions that need escalating to the GP and is proficient at wound management.
Nurses
We have a skilled nursing team who delivers a high standard of care for child immunisations, cervical screening, and chronic disease management such as diabetes, heart disease, asthma.We actively provide sexual health screening and family planning and can refer to smoking cessation services. We have a health care assistant who performs NHS health checks,screening for diabetes, hypertension and heart disease.We provide phlebotomy and can refer to weight management services.
Summer Shepherd
Summer qualified as a registered nurse in 2018 after which she completed a rotation programme covering emergency care, cardiology, acute geriatrics, and district nursing. This diverse foundation strengthened her clinical skills and adaptability in fast-paced and community environments.She remained in Accident & Emergency for several years, where she developed strong decision-making abilities and a calm, patient-focused approach under pressure. Summer joined the practice in 2024, where she quickly excelled and is known for delivering compassionate and respectful care, ensuring that patients feel informed, supported, and comfortable at every stage of their journey. Summer is proficient with chronic disease management,especially diabetes,child immunisations,smears and women’s health.
Advanced Clinical Practitioners
Our team of advanced clinical pharmacists run minor illness clinics,and have specialist knowledge in uptodate evidence based prescribing. They perform medication reviews,and audits to ensure high standards of medical prescribing with safety as paramount.
Izoduwa Aghedo
Izoduwa joined the practice in 2022 and has become very popular amongst patients and staff due to her extensive experience in clinical pharmacy. She is highly knowledgeable and can manage acute and chronic conditions using evidence based medicine and prescribing.She is a senior member of the team and enjoys the challenges of modern medicine to continually evolve and innovate.
Care coordinators
Binny Sharone
Binny is a qualified medical Doctor from India and works as a care coordinator at present. His medical knowledge is invaluable in triaging patients and ensuring care navigation is optimised.Binny performs a variety of administrative tasks and is often called upon to help patients whom may have difficulties accessing healthcare or to prioritise appointments due to urgent needs.In his spare time Binny enjoys playing the piano.
Blessy Thomas
Blessy is a medical doctor,originally from the UAE,and qualified in the Phillipines.She is currently a care coordinator and receptionist and is renowned for her exquisite and respectful manner. She helps with the daily triage of patient requests,prioritising appointments,and administrative tasks such as patient recalls. She enjoys communicating with patients at the front desk to help with daily queries,and her medical knowledge helps triage more effectively.
Wandle PCN
We are part of the Wandle PCN, which is a network of 5 practices, with access to paramedics who provide a comprehensive home visiting service, clinical pharmacists to optimise safe and effective prescribing, who also runs minor illness clinics. We also have physiotherapists who assesses, treats, and investigates common musculoskeletal problems.The social prescriber runs a weekly clinic and often holds meetings with the DWP,and councillors to help patients with benefits,housing issues.
